Request account deletion (recommended if you want everything removed)

To request deletion of your FOOLPROOF SKIN account, please email us:

  1. Send an email to hello@foolrproofskin.org with the subject:

    “Account deletion request – FOOLPROOF SKIN”

  2. In the email, include:

  • The email address used for your FOOLPROOF SKIN account

  • A short confirmation: “I request deletion of my FOOLPROOF SKIN account.”

  1. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account (to prevent unauthorized deletion).

  2. Once verified, we will process deletion within 3 days.

What will be deleted when you delete your account

When your account deletion is completed, we delete (or irreversibly anonymize) the following, where applicable:

  • Account profile data (e.g., email, name/nickname, preferences)

  • App content you created (e.g., symptom logs, diaries, notes, tracking entries)

  • Derived insights linked to your account (e.g., correlations, recommendations tied to your logs)

  • Device/app identifiers associated with your account (where applicable)

  • Support conversations linked to your account (or we anonymize them)

What may be retained (and for how long)

Some information may need to be retained for limited periods:

  • Security / fraud prevention / abuse detection logs: retained up to 180 days

  • Legal compliance and accounting (only if you made purchases): transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law

  • Backups: deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten

We do not use retained data to rebuild your account or to re-identify you after deletion.

Request deletion of specific data (without deleting your account)

You can also request deletion of specific data categories while keeping your account.

Email with subject:

“Data deletion request (no account deletion) – FOOLPROOF SKIN”

Please specify what you want deleted, for example:

  • “Delete my symptom diary entries from [date] to [date]”

  • “Delete all photos/attachments (if applicable)”

  • “Delete my analytics identifiers (if applicable)”

If you cannot access your account

Email hello@foolrpoofskin.org and include any information that helps us locate your account (e.g., previous login email). We will guide you through verification.
